Lecturer – Education Focused Join to apply for the Lecturer – Education Focused role at UNSW. This is a part‑time position (10.5 hours per week, 0.3 FTE) on a 2‑year fixed‑term contract based at the Kensington Campus in Sydney, New South Wales. Salary is Level B from $127,947 plus 17% superannuation and annual leave loading (pro‑rata). About the Role Delivery of engaging undergraduate and/or postgraduate classes. Assessment of student learning and provision of tailored academic support. Design and development of innovative learning activities and resources. Contribution to experimental teaching approaches and quality assurance of course content. Ongoing professional development in pedagogy and discipline knowledge. Articulation of a clear teaching philosophy that inspires learning. Responsibilities Manage course administration and quality assurance. Support student equity, diversity and inclusion initiatives. Foster individual and cohort progression to enhance student outcomes. Qualifications A PhD in a related biomedical or medical discipline (preferred) or relevant work experience. Demonstrated experience in teaching and learning design, development and delivery at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level. Experience using and/or designing with educational technologies and online delivery methods. Evidence of teaching effectiveness and passion for educational excellence. Knowledge of industry or experience of work‑integrated learning (desirable). Ongoing professional development and up‑to‑date discipline knowledge. Highly developed interpersonal and organisational skills. Ability to support and inspire students from diverse backgrounds. Pre‑employment Checks Verification of qualifications.
