Position Overview Altea’s Starbucks Baristas & Smoothie Bar Servers are coffee and tea enthusiasts who relish working with people and consistently provide a five‑star customer service experience to all members and guests. They are passionate about building rapport, maintaining white‑glove standards, and delivering handcrafted beverages while navigating fast‑paced shifts. Typical Day Welcoming all members and guests and taking their orders Entering orders into point‑of‑sale, receiving and processing transactions Preparing handcrafted hot and cold coffee and tea beverages tailored to clients’ specific orders Educating members and guests on the menu and making recommendations Answering questions regarding the menu, ingredients, etc. Maintaining inventory and replenishing supplies Working alongside colleagues in a team environment Cleaning and sanitizing equipment and seating areas Complying with health and safety regulations What We’re Looking For At least 1+ year in the café service industry At least 1+ year in the customer service industry Experienced and comfortable working busy shifts; friendly, outgoing, and dedicated to outstanding customer service Post‑secondary education in the health and fitness industry or additional customer‑service certifications (an asset) Current CPR/First Aid certification, renewed annually Recent criminal background check prior to commencement of training or work Perks of this Position A competitive salary Group health benefits Complimentary membership Team member perks Complete training and development package Working alongside great people in a culture that fosters empowerment Career‑defining growth and development opportunities How to Apply In your cover letter, please include an explanation of why your experience is specifically relevant to this role at Altea Active.
