Opportunity The Service Leader maintains a positive customer experience by ensuring safe and quality food is prepared and served, and that the restaurant crew is well trained and provides good customer service. He/she maintains a clean, organized line with properly functioning line equipment. The responsibilities include working while on the floor, evaluating tasks during downtime, assisting other crew members, and maintaining food safety compliance. What You’ll Do Make sure great tasting, high quality food is served. Help to resolve food quality issues. Support food safety by ensuring hand washing, glove changes, monitoring time and temperature on the line, secondary shelf lifetimes, and following the Daily Food Safety Checklist and policies. Help to resolve customer incidents and ensure positive customer experiences. Monitor crew breaks, shift changes, shift meetings, and line schedules. Develop and cross‑train all front‑of‑house crew. Assist with crew performance reviews. Develop future Service Leaders. Assist with miscellaneous office administration duties such as banking, cash handling policies, responsibilities, and office paperwork. Ensure office equipment remains in working order and supplies are ordered as necessary. What You’ll Bring To The Table Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy. Knowledge and experience of cash handling policies and procedures. Knowledge of Food Safety and health department matters. Familiarity with office paperwork. Ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location. High school diploma. Restaurant experience. Provide at least four (4) days of open availability each week, at least two (2) of which must be a Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday; open availability meaning any eight‑hour shift during those days.
