In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing security solutions across our cloud environments. You will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our cloud infrastructure, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and protecting our data from emerging threats. The candidate should have knowledge of cloud security frameworks such as NIST, CIS, PCI, and ISO, and familiarity with Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) is necessary. Experience with Azure is required with some knowledge of other Cloud services like AWS and GCP. The engineer should be adept at using AI tools to enhance the efficiency of operational tasks. Office location: Toronto, Canada or Boston, USA Work arrangement: Hybrid – 3 days in Office, 2 days from Home. Remote working option is not available. Position Responsibilities As a Senior Cloud Security Engineer, you will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to develop and enforce robust security policies, conduct risk assessments, and respond to security incidents. A key focus will be ensuring configuration compliance across all cloud resources, maintaining best practices to prevent misconfigurations that could lead to vulnerabilities. Your expertise will be essential in guiding the organization through complex security challenges, optimizing our cloud security posture, and supporting the adoption of new technologies. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cloud platforms, a strong background in cybersecurity, and a proven track record of successfully managing cloud security initiatives. Required Qualifications Must have 8+ years of IT industry / related experience Must have 2 to 3 years experience in CSPM tools Must have Security certifications Must have experience in Azure Cloud Must have experience in risk‑based data analysis, capable of triaging security alerts and developing comprehensive reports Preferred Qualifications Industry exposure in AI is highly desirable but not a must Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Computer Science is highly desirable When You Join Our Team We’ll empower you to learn and grow the career you want.
