Appian Lead Developer with 8+ years of experience in Appian BPM development and design. Responsibilities Lead the design and development of Appian applications, ensuring adherence to best practices. Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Present options to clients, identifying and clearly communicating benefits and risks. Manage and mentor a team of Appian developers, providing guidance and code reviews. Integrate Appian applications with external systems using web services, APIs, and other integration methods. Ensure performance optimization, scalability, and security of Appian applications. Prepare technical documentation and participate in solution architecture discussions. Troubleshoot and resolve issues during development and post-deployment phases. Qualifications 8+ years of experience in Appian BPM development and design; at least 6 years in implementation. Strong knowledge of Appian components: SAIL, Process Models, Records, Sites, Reports and Plug-ins. Complete understanding of tools available on Appian platform (Modelling, AI Skills, Plug-ins, Admin Console, Process HQ, Cloud DB). Experience with Appian 21.x or higher. Proficiency in Java, SQL, and Web Services (SOAP/REST) for integrations. Understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC processes. Excellent problem solving and communication skills. Appian Level 2 or Level 3 certification preferred. Experience in cloud deployments (AWS/Azure). Knowledge of UI/UX best practices within Appian. Familiarity with DevOps tools for CI/CD in Appian projects. Minimum: 6+ years as an Appian Lead Developer; Total Experience: 8-12 years.
