Claims Advisor, P&C Insurance Join Desjardins as a Claims Advisor in our Property & Casualty Insurance team. Responsibilities Conduct investigations and inspections to assess damage, estimate costs and market value, and produce and review reports to determine settlement amounts. Analyze medical, financial, and job information and determine eligibility for benefits based on statutory criteria. Settle claims in accordance with the organization’s standards, policies and quality commitments, as well as contract terms, meeting deadlines to ensure client satisfaction and avoid penalties. Negotiate with all parties involved to ensure smooth claims processing. Requirements College diploma in a related field. Minimum of three years of relevant experience in property and casualty insurance claims. Strong analytical skills and discipline‑specific knowledge. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency in French (required). Knowledge of Canadian statutory criteria for benefits eligibility (preferred).
