Join to apply for the Conveyance Engineer (Senior) role at Associated Engineering Location: Vancouver, BC (Water Division) Job Description We currently have an opening for a Senior Conveyance Engineer in the Vancouver office of the Water Division. The Water Division services a diverse client sector, including public and private sector clients such as Federal, Provincial and Municipal Governments, private clients, and contractors. In this role, you will support the Water Group and Division Manager in expanding Associated’s Conveyance business in BC. We are looking for an individual with the ambition to take a lead role in project resourcing, business planning, and technical mentorship of engineers and technologists. Responsibilities Mentoring Junior and Intermediate Engineers and Technologists Assist the Water Group and Division managers with the resourcing of projects, business planning, revenue forecasting and career planning Leading the Vancouver Water Division’s Conveyance Practise. This may include: Early identification and development of project opportunities through market intelligence and networking Developing teaming relationships with specialist consultants and partners to support proposal strategies Leading the pursuit, design and delivery of Conveyance projects and pursuits that may include: Large Diameter Water Mains, Forcemains, Gravity Sewers Water, Wastewater and Drainage Pump stations Trenchless projects Involvement in the civil design for Reservoirs, Water and Wastewater Treatment Facilities, and associated Valve Chambers and Hydraulic Control Structures Participating in the recruitment of additional engineers and technologists as required Connecting and working with colleagues across the country to support project resourcing and build your network Participating and taking a leadership role in Discipline Interest Groups and Communities of Practice Qualifications Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited post‑secondary institution Registered with EGBC as a P.Eng. 10+ years of experience in conveyance design, engineering, construction and management, with a minimum of 5 years in a consulting capacity Consulting and/or professional experience in B.C. is an asset Experience in business development in both private and public sectors Benefits A centrally located office in Vancouver, easily accessible by bus and Skytrain A hybrid work environment combining remote and in‑office work Competitive salary and benefits, including a fitness allowance and company‑matching pension program Ongoing support for growth and development, with formal professional development, mentoring programs, training opportunities and professional designation support An on‑site fitness center with full amenities and bike storage for all staff An active Social Club that promotes social activities in and outside the office and offers subsidized tickets to local events Company‑supported wellness program with lunch and learns on various topics Salary Range: $110,000.00 to $150,000.00, commensurate with experience.
