SUMMARY : TheRetail Sales Representative is responsible in providing excellent customer service to all accounts intheir specified territory. In addition, the gathering of field information and representing our Clients in a professional and courteous manner is vital to the success of this position. Duties and Responsibilities :To make store visits to new and existing retailersTo provide store-level support on new product launches and initiatives.To perform store audit checksTo manage retail distributors and pre-sell feature activity and track featured activityManage shelf space and location of products.Build rapport at store and head office levelTo participate at various distributor and food related trade shows. The successful candidates must possess the following Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :Have excellent communication skills both written and oral with a strong command of the English languageHave excellent negotiation, problem-solving and analytical skillsHave excellent organizational and time-management skillsHave excellent presentation skills - in both the boardroom and kitchenBe a self-starter and able to work independentlyMust have a valid drivers license Physical Requirements / Working Conditions :Candidate must be able to perform the essential functions of the job.Work may be performed in an office, warehouse or restaurant environment.Stand for extended periods of time, walk, bend, stoop, or climb.May have possible exposure to dust and may require the ability to lift and / or push up to 50 pounds.Flexible work hours to accommodate demands of position (some weekends included)May require travel up to 80% of the time within territory and overnights may be required We offer a competitive wage, bonus potential, car allowance and group benefit package.
