We combine deep financial expertise with a growth mindset, working closely with our clients to understand their unique needs and develop tailored solutions that streamline cross-border payments and unlock new revenue streams. As a team, we are driven by a desire to make a positive impact and are constantly innovating to find new ways to support the success of our SME customers.What You’ll DoYou will establish meaningful and challenging conversations with C-level and company founders that lead you to establish strong relationships and close big deals with these companies. You will be fully responsible for prospecting leads, activating your network, and creating business connections. We are looking to hire our third seller in the Toronto area. In the long term, this role will have a hybrid in-office component.This role is based in Toronto, Canada with 3 days a week in our downtown office.ResponsibilitiesImplement a multithreaded outbound sales approach for prospecting leads, activating your networking and creating business connectionsOwn the outbound sales process from end-to-endBe an expert in all aspects of the Airwallex platform, our customers, and our solutionsClearly communicate the challenges in the cross-border payments industry and the value of Airwallex solutions to empower companies to go globalNegotiate partnership agreements and commercials contracts in conjunction with legal, finance and strategy through to executionHelp craft and redesign processes to ensure Airwallex can move quickly and succeed at scaleBe a team player and set the standard for our entire SME sales functionWho You AreWe're looking for people who meet the minimum qualifications for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but are not mandatory.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, minimum 3 years of outbound sales in the Fintech or Payment spaceProficient in Google Suite and sales tech tools like Salesforce, Outreach, Zoominfo, and LinkedIn Sales NavigatorA proven record of exceeding targets in outbound B2B sales and experience selling solutions in target verticals including e-commerce, marketplaces, and SaaS/TechnologyStrategic thinker and able to drive 'partnership' conversations vs. 'sales' conversations - Solution OrientedA FIO (Figure It Out) attitude and are willing to do whatever is necessary to achieve resultsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsMust be fluent in French, working proficiencyPreferred QualificationsB2B Payments API experienceExperience working in a fast paced environment, particularly in 0-1 mode (e.g., helped to launch and grow a new product or region)Equal opportunityAirwallex is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
