Associate Lawyer – Family Law We are searching for a talented lawyer to work effectively within our Family Solutions Group. The Family Solutions Group provides comprehensive legal consulting for individuals and families. Our firm is proud to be one of Alberta’s Top Employers. We are now actively seeking to add a talented family law associate to join our team of legal experts in our Edmonton office. Responsibilities The successful candidate will : have 3 to 7 years of post-call experience in family law; possess outstanding conflict resolution, negotiation, and communication skills; and, be highly motivated, reliable, and client centric. Knowledge & Skills Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability Strong work ethic and positive team attitude Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills Excellent teamwork and team-building skills as well as the ability to work independently Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with internal and external contacts Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with other departments, key business partners, and a variety of client contacts Strong problem identification and problem resolution skillsEffective file and practice management skills, a willingness to collaborate on projects with other lawyers and stakeholders Education & Admission JD or LLB required; Admitted to Alberta Bar (no exceptions) Practicing lawyer with 3-7 years post-call experience In good standing with the Law Society of Alberta Compensation Competitive base salary and exceptional bonus structure Health Benefits (inclusive of a Health Spending Account) Quality work on various file types Mentorship Professional Development and Educational support Access to Business Development and Marketing resources Opportunity for growth within the firm Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $100,000.00-$170,000.00 per year Benefits Dental care Employee assistance program Extended health care On-site gym Paid time off Licence / Certification: LSAB Certificate of Standing (preferred) Work Location: In person #J-18808-Ljbffr
