Job Title: Senior Staff Accountant As a Senior Staff Accountant on our Controllership Services team, you will be servicing multiple clients by seamlessly providing external support in financial reporting, bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, commodities tax, and payroll while ensuring financial accuracy. You will be utilizing your expertise in various accounting principles to ensure compliance with regulations and helping our clients manage their operations. What you’ll do: Design and review customized month‑end reporting packages Prepare and oversee corporate/personal tax filings including but not limited to payroll and sales tax Prepare and review year‑end compilation engagements Liaise with clients and the CRA professionally and promptly Build and maintain strong client relationships Address accounting and tax‑related inquiries Work with team members in providing accurate financial reporting Utilize software such as Quickbooks, Xero, Caseware, Taxprep T1/T2 Qualifications: Minimum 4 years of progressive experience in public or industry environment Minimum of a University degree or College diploma in Accounting or a related field Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting Proficiency in Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, Xero, Caseware, Taxprep T1/T2 Strong communication, technical, and organizational skills Team‑oriented with the ability to work independently Seniority level Mid‑Senior level Employment type Full‑time Job function Accounting/Auditing and Finance Industries: Accounting #J-18808-Ljbffr
