Financial Planner, Branch Network – Brampton Main About the Role Internally known as Financial Advisor, Investment and Retirement Planning (FAIR), the Financial Planner in our retail branch network is part of a high‑performing sales team committed to results in an inclusive culture. You are responsible for contributing to the team’s overall success by meeting or exceeding negotiated deposit and investment sales goals through effective management of an assigned portfolio of clients. Primary responsibilities include establishing and deepening investment and primary banking relationships with existing customers and prospects referred by branch partners. Conduct in‑depth reviews for assigned clients, covering retirement planning, wealth accumulation, and estate planning using financial‑planning tools. Show natural curiosity to uncover and solve clients’ needs, providing trusted financial advice on investments and retirement planning. Demonstrate self‑motivation and a goal‑oriented mindset to design personalized financial strategies and solutions. Foster strong engagement, educate clients, offer insights, and deliver expert advice. Build relationships, focus on client experience, and grow long‑standing client relationships. Leverage advanced technology tools to enhance client interactions and streamline financial‑planning processes. Focus on achieving targets while maintaining a balanced approach to client satisfaction and business growth. Skills & Qualifications Preferred experience in financial planning and investment sales. Completed the CIFP/CFP designation or a bank‑recognized equivalent. Certification as a Mutual Funds Representative in good standing, with licensing requirements met, and completed Investment Funds in Canada or a bank‑recognized equivalent. Thrives in a collaborative, results‑driven team culture where contributions are recognized and rewarded.
