Our client, a leading manufacturer of everyday luxury lifestyle menswear, is looking for an Email Marketing Specialist to join their team
The Email Marketing Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing email
marketing campaigns aimed at driving customer engagement, retention, and revenue for our
clients online ecommerce retail stores.
Your role will involve crafting effective email campaigns and working collaboratively with cross-
functional teams to optimize email content, promotions, and messaging. You will also be
responsible for analyzing email marketing metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns
and make data-driven recommendations for improvements. This position will report directly to
the E-commerce Director and Marketing Manager. The successful candidate will work
collaboratively with other outside marketing agencies and each brand’s separate teams in the
following areas: planning, merchandising, brand marketing, sales.
This is a work from office position, hours are 8:30am-5:30pm, location is downtown Montreal.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute email marketing campaigns and automated flows, including
writing email copy, creating email templates, and scheduling email sends.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, merchandising, and
digital marketing, to optimize email content, promotions, and messaging.
• Monitor and analyze email marketing metrics, including open rates, click-through
rates, conversion rates, and revenue generated, to evaluate the effectiveness of
email campaigns.
• Continuously test and optimize email campaigns to improve key metrics and
achieve business goals.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in
email marketing.
• Maintain email marketing calendars and coordinate email sends with other
marketing campaigns and promotions.
• Ensure email compliance with industry regulations, such as CAN-SPAM, GDPR,
California privacy laws and CASL.
• Collaborate with customer service teams to ensure timely responses to customer
inquiries and requests generated through email campaigns.
• Help the graphic design team with e-mail creatives when necessary
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in managing email campaigns for e-commerce or retail
companies.
• Proficient in Klaviyo, Mailchimp and other email marketing platforms to segment
customer lists and personalize email content based on customer behavior and
preferences.
• Proficient in using Klaviyo, and other digital advertising platforms.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze campaign data and adjust
strategies accordingly.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-
functionally.
• Familiarity with A/B testing and experimentation to optimize campaigns.
• Experience with Google Analytics and other analytics tools to track and measure
campaign performance.
• Strong skills with PowerPoint and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in digital
marketing.
• Solution-oriented, thrives in a fast paced environment, ability to prioritize and
oversee multiple projects at once.
