Come find out for yourself what it's like to be a part of our journey.We offer attractive pay, flexible work options, a great corporate culture, comprehensive and employee-focused benefits including virtual healthcare and a wellness platform as well as great savings programs, and a clear vision for the future.What you can expect to do here:Design electrical systems for water and wastewater facilities, including power distribution, control systems, communication networks, lighting, fire alarms, and security systems.Prepare proposals, technical memoranda, design reports, and detailed electrical specifications.Engage in project meetings with design teams, clients, consultants, and contractors.Collaborate with utilities and key stakeholders for project execution.Work with equipment manufacturers and suppliers, incorporating design data into drawings and specifications.Participate in construction services, including reviewing shop drawings, RFIs, change orders, and site inspections.Conduct engineering analyses and system studies such as arc flash, short circuits, and coordination studies.Perform site surveys and condition assessments.Manage project budgets and schedules, addressing challenges proactively.Review design documents for compliance with standards and codes.Facilitate collaboration between design and construction teams.Mentor junior staff and share expertise.Perform additional duties as assigned.What you’ll bring to WSP:Electrical Engineering Degree.5-10 years of experience in design projects across Ontario and Canada.Valid PEO Professional Engineer License.Knowledge of relevant codes and standards (OESC, OBC, IEEE, ASHRAE, CSA, OHSA).Proficiency with AutoCAD, MicroStation, Revit, and 3D modeling.Successful project management and coordination skills.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.About UsWSP is a leading professional services firm dedicated to future-proofing cities and environments.
