The English teacher is expected to provide technical assistance to other English teachers at the organization’s school plus teaching in class to enhance English knowledge among students who are attending the school.As a volunteer, you will:Identify needs and opportunities for teaching English in VETADevelop approaches to improve English teachingDesign and implement teaching curriculum that will help improve English teaching and implementBuild English teaching capacity of staffEssential Requirements:Advanced degree in Teaching English languageMinimum of four years of relevant experience in teachingEssential Background:Cross-cultural experience in coaching/mentoring and trainingWhat’s in it for YOU? You will have a Volunteering Mobilization Advisor (VMA) to support you through the process and will participate in pre-placement training as part of your preparation. You will also have access to self-directed briefing documents, online training, and external resources through the volunteer portal.
