This role requires a self-driven, agile mindset and the ability to influence senior leaders, drive talent strategies, and deliver a best-in-class hiring experience. The recruiter provides full-cycle recruitment expertise, market insights, strong stakeholder partnership, and high-touch candidate management.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as a Talent Advisor for assigned Technology LOBs, supporting leaders with market intelligence and hiring recommendations.Lead full-cycle recruitment for technical roles, ensuring alignment with bank policies and talent processes.Build strong relationships with business leaders and HR partners to understand current and future hiring needs.Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to build a diverse, high-quality pipeline of active and passive candidates.Advise hiring managers on market gaps, talent availability, and alternative sourcing approaches.Maintain an optimal candidate and Hiring Manager experience throughout all stages of recruitment.Promote the employer brand through strong candidate relationships and market presence.Represent the organization at recruitment events and industry functions as needed.Maintain and analyze accurate recruitment metrics to inform sourcing strategies and hiring decisions.Lead advertising, branding, and sourcing activities using social media, internal tools, and recruitment platforms.Follow enterprise frameworks, HR policies, and regulatory guidelines related to recruitment.Conduct research, prepare presentations, and communicate findings to leadership.Drive process improvements, ensure compliance, and support risk management practices.Manage workload independently to meet SLAs for productivity and service quality.Resolve escalated issues promptly and professionally.Required Experience8+ years of recruitment experience, including 2-3 years in technology recruiting.Corporate recruitment experience supporting enterprise environments.Experience partnering with senior leadership and HR partners.Strong knowledge of hiring practices, talent markets, and recruitment strategy.Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.Nice-to-Have ExperienceWorkday ATS experience.Recruiting-related certifications.Experience supporting major Canadian financial institutions.Required SkillsTechnology recruiting expertiseAgile mindset and proactive work styleStrong communication and stakeholder partnershipPreferred SkillsNegotiation and advisory capabilityData-driven decision-makingAbility to manage complex workloadsKnowledge of HR policies and recruitment complianceMicrosoft Word and Excel proficiencyAdditional SkillsIndependent time managementCustomer service excellenceKnowledge of hiring regulations and legal complianceStrategic planning and talent advisoryAbility to support multiple initiatives and recruitment programsExperience communicating with executive-level managersStrong relationship-building across HR and business unitsAbout the ClientA top-10 Canadian and North American bank providing retail, commercial, wealth management, and wholesale banking services.
