The ERP Specialist – Finance and Accounting reports to the Group ERP Manager and participates in the evolution, support and maintenance of the Business Central/Navision ERP globally (for the different sites internationally).The candidate will be part of an international team of ERP specialists, based in Montréal and in the Asia/Pacific region. The role is responsible for the finance & accounting functions of BC (D365) and will be a reference for supporting, proposing and implementing best practices with the tool in this regard. The initial objective is to collaborate in the ERP migration of five BC/Navision installations worldwide into a single Cloud (SaaS) tenant with multiple instances, converting all sites to a single global chart of accounts. Over time, the role may involve migrating BC to another ERP.Main responsibilitiesCarry out major finance and accounting projects on the ERP as an AnalystProvide level 2 and 3 support for finance & accounting usersParticipate in the migration of hosted BC and Navision to a single Cloud tenant with multiple instancesIntegration of ERP modules and applications into Business CentralImplement and support customizations in BCEnsure BC finance and accounting features are well supported for all users worldwideTrain end-users on how to use Microsoft Business CentralWork with internal stakeholders to understand technical requirements and define the scope of modifications and developmentConvert functional requirements to technical specifications and design documentsRecommend best practices and influence stakeholdersCreate, design and modify the default reporting in BCCommunicate effectively with usersCandidate profile / Qualifications8+ years in Navision or Business Central managementIn-depth understanding of ERP support and operationsProven ability to translate business processes into applicable ERP configurationsDegree in Business, Computer Science or Engineering in a related field is requiredMB-800 certification is an assetExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilitiesResults-oriented with ability to plan and deliver against project deadlinesResilient, self-motivated and able to work well under pressureFinance, accounting & technical mindsetAbility to positively resolve issues arising from different culturesCapacity to perform in a constantly evolving enterpriseAbility to speak French with our team in Quebec if the candidate is located in Quebec.
