Senior Director, Operational Enablement, Specialty Health Network Location: 1685 Tech Ave, Mississauga, Ontario, L4W 0A7 Shoppers Drug Mart Specialty Health Network (SHN) is a growing division of Shoppers Drug Mart, committed to building a talented team that champions collaboration, kindness and inclusivity. SHN supports our retail stores in providing the best patient care to patients requiring specialty drugs and offers a sophisticated network of patient support programs, reimbursement facilitation and compliance services. The Senior Director, Operational Enablement reports to the Vice President of SHN and leads a team focused on achieving operational excellence across all specialty programs. What you will do: Act as an active member of the SHN Senior Leadership team, playing a key role in the development of business strategy and implementation of the Strategic Vision for SHN. Champion the company’s Vision, Mission and Values as set out in the Strategic Plan. Establish and manage departmental objectives, operating procedures, annual budgets and financial forecasts. Define, manage and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), maintaining a robust Continuous Improvement plan to meet and exceed specified objectives. Foster a high colleague engagement culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement. Lead the implementation of strategic operational initiatives and drive end‑to‑end process improvement projects across the Specialty Health Network. Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives, including the creation of supporting business cases. Facilitate cross‑department collaboration to ensure alignment with strategic objectives. Identify opportunities for improvement through data‑driven analysis and present actionable recommendations to senior leadership. What you will need: University degree in business or related discipline is an asset. 5–7 years of experience in healthcare or operational leadership roles, preferably in a pharmacy or pharmaceutical industry setting. Previous clinical, pharmacy or business experience with specialty pharmaceuticals. Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry (e.g., drug handling, systems, reimbursement programmes) is an asset. Experience with patient support programmes, retail specialty services or operations is a definite asset. Proven ability to lead, coach and mentor others, with a track record of developing high‑performing teams. Demonstrated success in managing a complex business, developing growth strategies and making timely decisions in a rapidly evolving market. Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management and forecasting. Leadership presence and ability to engage and influence cross‑functional and executive leadership. Experience leading large‑scale change‑management initiatives is highly valued. Exceptional problem‑solving, conflict‑resolution and negotiating skills. Strong interpersonal skills, with excellent written and verbal communication and an ability to connect at all levels of the organization. Proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse operational and cross‑functional teams.
