This role starts September 15, 2025.DescriptionResponsibilities:Assist in developing testing strategy, test plans, selecting testing tools, and identifying resources required for testing.Help plan and organize testing efforts for large systems in GUI and non-GUI environments, including execution of systems integration tests, specialized tests, and user acceptance testing (e.g., stress tests).Support development of test plans, scripts, and cases; execute against various components; collaborate with testing lead, IT lead, and project team members.General SkillsExperience in planning, organizing, and implementing testing efforts.Knowledge of structured methodologies for application development, design, implementation, and maintenance.Familiarity with CASE tools and data query tools for test case development.Experience with automated test tools and version control systems on various platforms.Ability to execute functional, non-functional, and systems-level integration tests.Experience supporting and participating in UAT.Understanding of QA principles, practices, tools, and structured methodologies.Experience creating testing strategy documentation, test plans, cases, and data for various testing phases.Knowledge of testing types: unit, integration, load, and performance.Familiarity with all phases of SDLC.Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.Team player with a track record of meeting deadlines.Knowledge of automated testing tools.Desirable SkillsKnowledge and experience in at least one programming language.Experience with information retrieval packages.Understanding of testing methods in an object-oriented environment.Knowledge of Information Management principles, policies, and practices.Knowledge of AODA and related standards.Experience testing COTS applications like Case Management, Curam.Experience testing Child Welfare applications.Experience with Azure DevOps tools in testing activities.Experience coaching junior team members for automating test cases.Skills and Experience RequirementsTechnical Knowledge (70%)Work with team, BAs, stakeholders to develop clear user stories.Create and execute test cases for both functional and non-functional requirements.Knowledge of testing COTS applications and web technologies.Knowledge of SDLC methodologies, ITIL, relational databases, and query languages like SQL.Test planning, strategy creation, early testing, defect analysis, troubleshooting, defect reporting, and performance monitoring.Lead and support UAT for sign-offs.Communication and Project Management Skills (15%)Knowledge of project management, task estimation, scheduling, and control.Develop documentation, materials, and facilitate knowledge transfer.Interact effectively with BAs, stakeholders, project managers, and clients.Agile Knowledge and Experience (15%)Experience working with Agile teams and projects.Experience with Azure DevOps tools.Prioritizing work and collaborating with product owners and stakeholders.Must HavesAt least 1 year of recent experience testing COTS applications like Case Management, Curam.Experience working with Agile teams and projects.Experience with Azure DevOps tools in testing activities.Seniority levelEntry levelEmployment typeContractJob functionQuality AssuranceIndustriesIT Services and IT Consulting #J-18808-Ljbffr
