Overview CCBF PROGRAM COORDINATOR Position: Full Time contract position (2.5 year appointment) Available: January 2026 Term: January 1, 2026 - March 31, 2028 Scope The Program Coordinator provides communications and administrative support for the Canada Community-Building Fund (CCBF) on behalf of the Province of Nova Scotia. The position develops resources, educational opportunities, and information sharing around innovation and best practices related to fund initiatives and liaises with municipalities to ensure project timelines are met and any project issues are identified. Training Consists of a comprehensive job training program plus an orientation to the organization. Qualifications Collaborative leader who can work with a team to collect and manage information Excellent writing skills and an ability to write reports Experience in promoting grant programs considered an asset Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and organizational skills Self-directed, results-oriented individual with an ability to create and manage a communications workplan Strong communications, presentation, and promotions skills, including experience with social media and web promotion Strong sense of team effort and willingness to work with other staff and provincial government officials Willingness to incorporate feedback and lessons learned for continuous improvement Education Post-secondary education required, with a specialization in marketing or communications, plus three years of related experience Hours of Work 8:30 am - 4:30 pm Monday-Friday. Some evening and weekend work required from time to time.
