Join our team as a Senior Procurement Specialist and play a pivotal role in the full lifecycle procurement of complex systems, equipment, and materials for the River Class Destroyer (RCD) program.This is more than a job—it’s an opportunity to shape the future of Canadian naval capabilities while working alongside industry leaders and stakeholders in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.QualificationsPost-secondary education in a relevant field (preferred)Minimum 7 years of procurement experience in Shipbuilding, Aerospace/Defense, Heavy Manufacturing, or ConstructionProven expertise in end-to-end procurement processes and contract managementStrong analytical skills with a keen eye for detailExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilitiesResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Procurement Specialist, you’ll lead procurement activities across a portfolio of high-value, critical packages. Your responsibilities will include:Strategic Sourcing & AnalysisConduct in-depth market research and analysis to develop comprehensive sourcing strategies that align with program goals.Stakeholder EngagementCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure procurement activities support project timelines and deliverables.Supplier ManagementOversee the full supplier lifecycle—from pre-qualification and onboarding to performance evaluation and relationship management.Contract & Commercial ManagementLead RFI/RFP development, supplier negotiations, contract preparation, and post-award administration. Manage purchase orders and ensure accurate invoice processing.Performance OversightMonitor safety, delivery, and quality performance to ensure compliance and continuous improvement across the supply chain. #J-18808-Ljbffr
