OverviewJoin to apply for the Intermediate Architect role at Architecture49 Inc.Architecture49 is seeking Intermediate Architects to join our GTA team. We are a growing firm with offices across Canada, offering a comprehensive benefits package, flexible schedule, hybrid work environment, and opportunities for professional development.ResponsibilitiesManage a team in producing architectural design solutions and construction drawings.Lead a group of architectural staff, coordinate project meetings, and collaborate with other building disciplines on multi-disciplinary projects.Perform internal reviews and quality checks of models and drawings to ensure BIM standard compliance.Research materials, products and technologies for design and incorporate into details, specifications, and other documents.Manage a team of consultants and maintain effective client communication.Provide technical and administrative oversight to meet client needs and deliver projects within cost, quality, and schedule targets.Manage the financial aspects of the project including planning, scheduling, forecasting and staffing, coordinating with accounting.Travel to remote First Nation communities and work sites as required.QualificationsRegistered architect in Ontario (OAA), or eligibility to be registered.7+ years of experience in a similar role.Familiarity with Provincial and National standards and codes.Knowledge of BIM principles and workflows; proficiency with REVIT, AutoCAD, Microsoft 365, and Bluebeam.Experience with Visualization software and Adobe Creative Suite is an asset.Experience or desire to work with Indigenous communities is an asset.About UsWhy Choose Us?
