Temporary Support Associate - Tanger Outlets OttawaOverview: The Temporary Sales Support Associate role is part of the store’s overall success and efficiency, supporting brand commitment when servicing customers, and ensuring accurate operations from receipt of product through the point of sale.ResponsibilitiesCash Wrap: Greet customers, engage with eye contact and name, read cues to determine needs, conduct email/name capture where permitted by law, maintain POS accuracy, keep cash wrap organized and clean, suggest add-ons and gift cards, and represent the brand appropriately.Stockroom / Warehouse: Receive shipments and transfers, notify store management of new product, scan cartons/transfers for accuracy, communicate discrepancies, process shipments per standards and timeframes, organize and clean stock room (including offsite/remote warehouse as applicable), manage stock levels, perform regular cycle counts, participate in physical inventories, and uphold Loss Prevention standards.Sales Floor: Analyze replenishment needs, replenish floor zones, respond to sell-through with visual merchandising needs, support floor activities, communicate price points/features/stock availability to customers, fulfill customer requests, and maintain housekeeping standards.Additional RequirementsExperience: 1-3 years of retail experience (cashier/stock/sales), preferably in a luxury retail environment. Knowledge of fashion trends and competition in the marketplace.Education: High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.Technical: Knowledge of cash register systems, basic computer skills (iPad/laptop, Mobile POS, Internet), use of walkie talkie, and ability to read price/product release sheets.Physical: Ability to work at a fast pace; ability to move around the sales floor, stock room; ability to climb, bend, kneel; frequently lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.Schedule: Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays with high retail traffic.Compensation: BASE PAY RANGE $17.20 to $18.25 per hour.Our Company and CommitmentsTapestry, Inc. is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
