ABOUT THE ROLE We’re looking for a dynamic Customer Experience Representative to join our in-office team in Parksville, BC. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of Indaba’s wholesale operations—building relationships, driving sales, and ensuring every customer interaction reflects our brand values of creativity, craftsmanship, and care. You’ll manage your own territory of accounts, helping retailers across North America grow their businesses with Indaba’s collections. From guiding product selection to processing orders and coordinating with our sales and logistics teams, you’ll play a key role in creating an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate is personable, proactive, and detail-oriented—someone who thrives on connection and finds satisfaction in seeing customers succeed. You’re an excellent communicator who enjoys balancing relationship-building with organization and follow-through. RESPONSIBILITIES Serve as the main point of contact for your assigned territory of wholesale customers. Handle incoming inquiries, orders, and service requests via phone, email, and Zoom. Provide knowledgeable product recommendations to encourage reorders and increase sales within existing accounts. Work closely with our external Sales Representatives across Canada and the U.S. to support account growth and customer satisfaction. Accurately process and manage orders, ensuring timely fulfillment in collaboration with logistics and warehouse teams. Maintain detailed customer records, order histories, and communication notes. Resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly. Stay informed on product lines, new releases, and industry trends to better serve customers. Represent Indaba at industry trade shows or key account meetings as required. ABOUT YOU Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Passionate about customer experience and sales growth. Highly organized with strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities. Comfortable using CRM, order entry, and communication tools. Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and team-oriented. Interest in home décor and interior design is an asset. French language skills are a plus. Previous experience in customer service or inside sales, ideally in a wholesale or retail environment. WHAT WE OFFER Monday to Friday daytime hours, working from our Parksville office.
