Job Title: Account Manager – Montreal Office Location: Montreal, QC About Us Tech‑Trek Ltd. is a leading manufacturers’ representative in Canada for semiconductors, passive, and electromechanical components. We partner with global technology leaders to deliver advanced solutions in automotive, aerospace & defense, industrial, telecom/IoT, and consumer markets. With a growing presence in Quebec, we are expanding our team to strengthen customer engagement and design‑in opportunities. Position Overview The Account Manager will be responsible for developing and managing key customer accounts in the Quebec region, focusing on OEMs, EMS providers, and design houses. This role requires strong technical sales acumen, relationship‑building skills, and the ability to align customer requirements with our manufacturers’ product offerings. You will work closely with our principals and distribution partners to drive design wins, revenue growth, and long‑term account strategies. Key Responsibilities Manage and grow assigned accounts across Quebec, with a focus on design‑in activities, pipeline development, and revenue expansion. Identify new opportunities and build strong relationships with engineering, procurement, and management teams at customer sites. Collaborate with distribution partners to support quoting, logistics, and fulfillment. Work with suppliers’ field application engineers (FAEs) and product managers to position solutions effectively. Maintain accurate pipeline, forecast, and opportunity tracking in CRM systems. Provide timely feedback on customer needs, competitive activity, and market trends. Represent Tech‑Trek at customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events in the region. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electronics, or Business (or equivalent experience). Minimum 3–5 years of technical sales or account management experience in the electronics components industry (semiconductors, passives, interconnects, or electromechanical products). Strong understanding of OEM/EMS design cycles and distribution channel dynamics. Bilingual in English and French (mandatory). Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Self‑motivated, organized, and able to work independently while collaborating with a distributed team. Proficiency with CRM tools and MS Office.
