Company: Lifemark Health Group (LHG) is a national healthcare company with over 5000 clinicians, serving across Canada. As Director of Occupational Health, you will drive transformative change at the intersection of health, safety, and business strategy. Responsibilities Define, champion, and oversee the end-to-end occupational health vision and strategy. Provide leadership and strategic direction to a multidisciplinary occupational health and wellness team. Establish and govern comprehensive frameworks for medical surveillance, proactive injury management, fitness‑for‑work protocols, and return‑to‑work programs. Manage regulatory compliance with federal, provincial, and municipal occupational health and safety legislation and public health standards. Create strategic partnerships with HR, Health & Safety, and other executive leaders to develop integrated health promotion, mental health, and ergonomic strategies. Act as the primary subject matter expert and strategic advisor to executive leadership on complex workplace health risks, advanced policy formulation, and critical incident response protocols. Exercise fiscal responsibility over departmental budgets, allocate resources strategically, and establish rigorous performance metrics. Cultivate high‑level strategic relationships with internal stakeholders, external healthcare providers, insurers, and regulatory bodies. Champion and direct advanced data analytics initiatives to identify emerging health trends, reduce absenteeism, and build a resilient, engaged workforce. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in nursing, occupational health, or a related health discipline (asset). Combination of experience will be considered. Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in occupational health or employee wellness, including 3+ years in a leadership position. Strong knowledge of occupational health legislation, disability management, and workplace safety practices. Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and influence organizational strategy.
