Let the countdown begin Responsibilities Are you excited about electronics and love to lead teams? This may be the position you have been looking for. You will be responsible for creating a memorable experience for our patrons by ensuring your team is maximizing uptime of the slot machines with preventative maintenance and repair. You will help keep the excitement on the gaming floor by leading projects such as theme conversions and slot machine moves. Your strong presence on the gaming floor will be vital to your management of people and interacting with customers while delivering exceptional customer service. You will ensure compliance with Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) regulations and all applicable laws, policies and procedures. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Supports the excitement on the gaming floor by assisting with new slot machine installs, software upgrades, theme conversions and slot machine moves. Assists with jackpot wins by ensuring slot machine integrity. Performs preventative maintenance on machines and casino equipment to ensure the integrity and proper functionality of casino equipment. Responsible for documenting, reporting and sharing information. Works under AGCO regulations and internal policies and procedures to ensure your compliance with all applicable laws, policies and procedures. Ensure the cleanness of their working areas and the gaming floor. Ensure prompt and discreet notification to appropriate management of any observation of illegal acts or internal ethics violations. Qualifications EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND CERTIFICATIONS : A Secondary School diploma or comparable combination of equivalent working experience and education with a background in electronics. 1+ years’ hands on working experience in a Slot Operations or Electronics area. Strong organizational, interpersonal, analytical, communication. Working knowledge of computer software packages and the ability to troubleshoot electronic equipment. Able to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently Able to take initiative to recommend projects, product improvements. An ability to work in a physically demanding area and be familiar with a high-volume, fast paced, shift work environment. The ability to obtain registration as a Category 2 Gaming Assistant with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario SKILLS : Professional Great attitude and team worker Strong organizational, interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills Must be able to communicate effectively with guests and other team members Must be able to work a varied schedule to include nights, weekends, and holidays Must have excellent oral and written skills Must be able to follow and enforce strict procedural guidelines maintained within the department Physical Demands : Ability to stand and sit for extended periods of time. Ability to walk distances. The employee must frequently lift / push / pull and / or move up to 50 pounds. Working Conditions : Duties and responsibilities are typically performed in a highly regulated and controlled environment, but there will be times where you will need to be on the Casino Floor to complete job functions as outlined or pass through this area. On the Casino Floor, you may be exposed to casino-related environmental factors including, but not limited to, excessive noise.
