As a valued member of the Enterprise Intelligence Team, the Data Scientist – Data Architect will play a crucial role leading a strategic project that is a key priority for the hospital – development and delivery of MIS reports and case costing data extracts. As a valued member of the team, the Data Architect for Business Intelligence & Data Analytics, HIS will play a crucial hands‑on role in designing and implementing all project data‑related needs. We are looking for a strong hands‑on candidate who possesses a holistic view of IT in a healthcare setting including experience and strong knowledge of data architecture, data transformation strategies, data warehousing, BI, and analytics. Reporting to the Director, Enterprise Intelligence, the successful candidate will apply rigorous project management knowledge, technical expertise and interpersonal skills to successfully plan and execute on the project to completion using standard project management methodologies, best practices, and tools.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for developing and optimizing database models to store and retrieve electronic medical record and administrative data.Modeling / transformation, design and documentationProficiency in developing reports with SQL, SSRS / SSIS / SSAS tools;Data warehouse - Development and analysis development and maintenance of architectures and data structures to support reports and analyzes which includes among other things the regular updating / updating of the ETL, the design of the data mapping, the integration and aggregation of data from various sources, SQL Server database;Programming and testing - In close collaboration with the programmer analyst, make sure to have an action plan for programming and automating the reports of the decision support service using programming languages such as SQL, SAS, SSAS, SSRS, SSIS or Business Objects or other reporting tools in the HIS;Execute thorough analysis / profile of all system data elements (tables and fields), migrate data, and design data models with strong expertise in SQL, Oracle, Python, R and / or similar data storage software query languagesDeveloping database solutions to store and retrieve company informationAnalyzing structural requirements for the new Oracle Health software and may associated applications.
