As a 3rd Class Power Engineer, you will conduct routine inspections, troubleshoot mechanical issues, perform preventative maintenance, and minor repairs. You will also work closely with the VP of Electromechanical Services to ensure safety regulations and company policies are followed, along with other duties as assigned.Key Responsibilities:Operate and maintain four (4) 2MW generators, compressors, and related equipmentConduct routine inspections and troubleshoot mechanical issuesMonitor system controls and adjust parameters to optimize efficiencyPerform preventative maintenance and minor repairsEnsure compliance with safety regulations and company policiesMaintain accurate records of operations, maintenance, and repairsQualifications:Valid Third-Class Power Engineer certificateMinimum 4 years of experience in an industrial or plant settingStrong mechanical and troubleshooting skillsKnowledge of safety regulations and standard operating proceduresAbility to work independently and in a team environmentWillingness to work shifts, including nights and weekendsWhile we appreciate all applications, only candidates under consideration will be contacted.Ainsworth is committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace.
