OverviewGet AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features.The OpportunityWe're looking for an Insurance Case Coordinator (ICC) to join our Insurance Operations team. Reporting to the Supervisor, Insurance Operations, the ICC manages back‑office operations, supporting new business and in‑force activities for advisors and assistants.ResponsibilitiesServe as the dedicated point of contact for Insurance Advisors and Assistants, building relationships and guiding them through back‑office processes.Manage up to 250 new‑business and in‑force cases (GIC, Annuities, basic health) in WealthServ, ensuring accurate data entry and timely medical ordering.Navigate 10 carrier websites to identify underwriting requirements, resolve discrepancies, and maintain carrier communications.Follow up daily on pending files, updating the system and communicating status changes to stakeholders.Maintain CIS mailboxes, uphold service‑level standards, and research to resolve issues quickly.Assist with data cleanup, vendor software releases, and reporting to support system integrity.Collaborate with Regional Insurance Consultants to address advisor delays and remove obstacles to policy settlement.QualificationsPost‑secondary education; industry and leadership certification is an asset.Minimum 1 year of progressive insurance experience and 3 years of administrative skills (preferred).Mid‑level proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and fast, accurate typing skills (required).Strong understanding of insurance new‑business procedures, underwriting, and Canadian data standards.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; bilingual French is an asset.Fluent English and strong problem‑solving skills to manage exceptions and escalation.Disciplinary work ethic, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to multitask independently.BenefitsCompetitive compensation package recognizing individual contributions.Excellent health, dental and insurance benefits.Generous vacation time, fitness and parental leave options.Matching contributions to retirement program.Commitment to continuous improvement through learning & development and education assistance.Equal Employment OpportunityAviso welcomes and encourages applications from all qualified individuals including persons with disabilities.
