Job Opening: Senior Project Manager

Our Automation & Digitalization division is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead automation and electrification projects. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of these technologies, excellent project management skills, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

Location

The position is flexible and can be based in any of our BC offices: Nanaimo, Richmond, Prince George, or Terrace. Relocation assistance may be available.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead automation and electrification projects from start to finish, meeting project goals, timelines, and budgets.
  2. Provide project administration, financial control, and procurement assistance.
  3. Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, and resourcing.
  4. Define project objectives, scope, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
  5. Manage project risks, develop contingency plans, and communicate progress to stakeholders.
  6. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
  7. Establish relationships with stakeholders and provide regular project updates.
  8. Mentor junior project managers, drive continuous improvement, and assist in proposal development.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering with focus on automation and electrification.
  • Minimum 10 years of project management experience in delivering such projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong understanding of automation, controls, and electrification technologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in project management tools and legally entitled to work in Canada.

Salary Range: $120,000 to $150,000 per annum based on a standard work week.
