Job Summary The Assistant Manager, Guest Experience role is an essential part of the store leadership team, ensuring our team members and guests receive a quality experience in our stores every day. Assistant Managers, Guest Experience are responsible for leading from the floor to build, manage, and develop team members. They create an environment and a team culture where people feel a deep sense of belonging and have the opportunity to grow, to ensure the team delivers outstanding guest experience in line with company values and directives. Core Responsibilities Leadership and People Management Create and foster a respectful and inclusive team environment. Engage team members by helping them understand how their work supports the success of the store and of lululemon overall. Implement the Store Manager’s People vision and cascade it to team members. Support hiring and building a strong and diverse team. Support ongoing learning and development with direct feedback, coaching, mentoring, and check‑ins. Lead performance management activities including coaching, recognition, documentation, and addressing concerns. Address employee concerns or issues and partner with internal support when necessary. Guest Experience and Community Lead an exceptional guest experience on the floor through assessment and coaching. Provide retail floor leadership and make in‑the‑moment decisions. Resolve guest feedback, escalations, and urgent requests to “make it right.” Operations, Product, and Strategy Partner with other managers to review business data and metrics. Maintain strategic product presentation and visual merchandising. Open and close the store per procedures. Adhere to people safety policies and procedures. Perform work in accordance with all applicable policies, procedures, laws or regulations. Budget Responsibility Accountable for delegated aspects of controllable budget and labor hours. People Management Leadership role directly responsible for a subset of store employees as delegated by the Store Manager. Job Requirements Eligibility Must be legally authorized to work in the country of the store. Must have reliable transportation to the assigned store. Schedule/Availability Work on a variable schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Experience 1 year people management experience. 1 year leadership experience, including managing business operations, administration, and projects or processes. Job Assets (Nice to have) High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Retail or sales specific management experience. Recruiting, hiring, or training employees experience. Compensation & Benefits Package Base Pay Range: $25.77 – $34.87/hour, subject to minimum wage in location. Target Bonus: 25% Total Target Base Pay Range: $32.21 – $43.59/hour. lululemon’s compensation is pay‑for‑performance.
