Structural Project Manager/Team Lead – Ports & Marine We are looking for a seasoned Structural Project Manager/Team Lead to join our Ports & Marine team and drive growth across Atlantic Canada’s port and harbor infrastructure. Your Opportunity The role will lead the strategic business plan to expand market share in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, PEI, Newfoundland and the eastern Arctic. You will build and nurture client relationships, acquire new business, and act as the Project Executive when required. Your Key Responsibilities Collaborate with Marketing to secure new clients and projects, preparing proposals, interviews and presentations. Oversee overall project performance, including service quality, revenue and quality metrics. Contribute to the development of plans and specifications for construction, renovation or improvement of marine structures and port facilities. Coordinate engineering activities for local and regional port projects. Work with office and operational leadership to ensure effective staffing that meets client and project needs. Recruit new Ports & Marine Terminals staff. Represent the firm as an internal and external ambassador. Engage with peer teams across the organization. Identify, recommend and advocate resources and strategies to meet business goals, provide training, fill resource gaps and partner strategically with clients, developers, consultants and strategic hires. Your Capabilities and Credentials Experience responding to RFPs, Expressions of Interest and Statements of Qualifications. Strong technical skills on major marine structure projects (wharves, piers, jetties). Excellent business development skills and proven ability to build and maintain client relationships. Exceptional leadership, communication and team‑building abilities. Entrepreneurial orientation with a deep understanding of consulting‑services business challenges. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Education and Experience Degree in Engineering and professional engineering registration/license in Canada. Minimum of 10 years experience designing ports and marine terminals, working with multidisciplinary teams on diverse marine structure projects. Typical office environment: sedentary computer work with occasional field work in variable weather.
