Duties and Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain relationships with customers.
  • Promote new product sales to existing customers, identify and contact potential customers for Fuel, Lubricants and Fluids.
  • Provide customers with presentations and information relating to company products.
  • Prepare and provide pricing quotes, complete credit applications, and collect customers information for account set up.
  • Represent and promote the brand through customer interaction, industry specific meetings, social events, and Trade/Farm shows.
  • Set priorities and determine goals to meet sales targets.
  • Manage and update databases / CRM, on a daily basis (ie. logging phone calls, quotes and managing the sale cycle)
  • Manage all house accounts, territory specific.
  • Follow up on leads from Petro-Canada.
  • Administer oil testing service to customers, follow up on results, and provide recommendations on cost-saving changes required.
  • Respond to customer needs and requirements, answer questions on product information in a timely manner (preferably same business day, always within 24 hours).

Knowledge & Experience

  • Working knowledge of MS Office; Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Marketing and selling skills.
  • Time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills and the ability to understand customer needs.
  • Presentation skills and the ability to train others.
  • Ability to build personal relationships with clients.
  • Organized and analytical.
  • Established, Local Business contacts and network an asset.

Education

  • High school diploma required.
  • Post- Secondary education in business/ sales is considered an asset.
