Your Role:
We’re looking for a Senior Video Creative Planner & Designer with extensive editing skills for videos on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and other social platforms. You’ll be working closely with product developers, marketers, and creatives to create compelling content. As a senior member of the team, you will assist closely in the planning and execution of videos, ensuring high-quality outputs that align with our marketing strategies. This role requires a commitment-oriented professional who excels under pressure and demonstrates exceptional time-management skills.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the video planner and team leads on assigned product, corporate, and marketing videos.
- Edit videos for YouTube, Instagram, and various campaign needs.
- Shoot skits or produce independent content based on briefs, including product, brand, or tutorial videos.
- Brainstorm ideas, understand marketing strategies, and execute visual initiatives.
- Manage pre-production planning and execution, including pre-setup, filming, organizing talent, storyboarding, location scouting, and scripting.
- Handle post-production tasks such as reviewing footage, creating rough cuts, adjusting audio, performing color correction, and final editing using Premiere Pro and/or After Effects.
- Ensure video production outputs contribute to marketing performance metrics, such as views, retention, engagement rates, and subscription growth.
Requirements and Skills:
- 8+ years of experience working in video or marketing teams or executing key work as an independent contractor.
- Proficient in After Effects and motion graphics.
- Strong research and scripting abilities.
- Experience with the full-cycle video production workflow.
- Showreel demonstrating creative and technical skills in scripting, storyboarding, and editing for both short and long-format videos, with examples of production design.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong deadline-conscious and efficient time management skills.
- Ability to handle pressure and perform well under tight deadlines.
- Experience with social media content creation is considered a bonus asset.
