Associate Manager, Strategic Planning & Initiatives Join to apply for the Associate Manager, Strategic Planning & Initiatives role at Canada Life. Overview This role will drive strategic initiatives relating to vendors and budgets across a variety of business units within Canada Life’s Wealth Solutions business. What You Will Do Support business units within Wealth Solutions as Planning Lead by driving forecasts, budgets, approvals, and business cases on a variety of initiatives Support AVP, Investment Operations and Servicing in managing external vendor budget, including service providers such as Bloomberg and market data providers such as S&P Dow Jones, MSCI Influence business partners and key stakeholders to ensure that the resources needed for the initiatives are allocated and documented accurately Assist Wealth Solutions businesses as they develop cases for a variety of audiences Present recommendations to senior leadership as required Ensure new service providers or market data providers are onboarded in compliance with corporate guidelines Conduct peer survey and market trends on behalf of Wealth Solutions business units What You Will Bring 5+ years of experience in financial services ideally in investment fund operations Strong planning/budgeting and project management skills Self‑motivated and results‑oriented individual with analytical and problem‑solving skills Strong communication skills to enable effective engagement with key stakeholders during project ideation, planning, and delivery Experience partnering with external suppliers and vendors Organizational skills to drive structure around project planning, tracking, and reporting Strong presentation skills to drive clear and concise recommendations to senior leadership Vision and ability to see how the strategy impacts future operational processes, procedures, and policies Compensation The base salary for this position is between $67,000 and $117,400 annually.
