Seeking an expert, detail-driven 3rd Year Pipefitter Apprentice with experience in flange precision, leak testing, and high-pressure/hydrostatic assemblies. This is a challenging, career-focused position for an apprentice prepared for sophisticated, demanding industrial projects. Join our Nisku facility team to focus on constructing complex custom jacketed piping and unique industrial-scale fabrication builds. You will serve as the technical specialist, guaranteeing flawless, high-integrity, leak-free construction on critical, bespoke mechanical equipment.Compensation: $28.00 per hourSchedule: 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through ThursdayAdvantagesCompensation & Schedule:$28.00 per hour base rate, with potential for overtime earnings.Long weekends with a four 10-hour shifts schedule: Monday to Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM.Rewards & Perks:Comprehensive Benefits Package starts after 4 months of employment.Paid Vacation: 2 weeks accrued after 4 months.Retirement Savings: Company RRSP match (3%) after 1 year.Overtime: Occasional opportunities for additional hours.Tools: Specialized fabrication tools provided; standard hand tools required.ResponsibilitiesPiping System Construction: Execute the assembly and field installation of intricate jackets, interpreting P&ID and GA drawings.Quality & Pressure Integrity: Apply expert-level knowledge to bolt-up and hydrostatic testing protocols, ensuring compliance with high-pressure specs.Specialist Fabrication Duties: Perform custom component fabrication, including threading, torquing, rework on distorted pipe, and jacketed spool sections.Module Integration: Support skid builds, mounting and installing valves, supports, and control instrumentation.Operational Excellence: Maintain safety focus and deliver high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced environment.QualificationsMandatory Certification: 3rd Year Registered Apprentice Pipefitter ticket required.Technical Proficiency: Proven history of flawless, high-precision assembly with expertise in:Advanced Flange Management: precise bolt-up on high-pressure systems.Rigorous Pressure Testing: hydrostatic and pneumatic tests.Sealing Components: Gaskets/Studs; identify and apply correct components, including Victaulic gaskets.Sizing Accuracy: select stud and gasket sizing based on flange dimensions and pressure class.Torquing Procedures: apply torque values per specifications for leak-proof seals.Fabrication and Installation: experience in fabrication and installation of complex equipment.Print Interpretation: read and interpret detailed specs and drawings.Professional Traits: dependable, safety-focused, collaborative.General Requirements: supply own hand tools and reliable transportation to Nisku facility.How to ApplyInterested?
