OverviewEsri Canada has an exciting opportunity for a GIS Technical Solutions Specialist, who will support sales, marketing, and business development activities for the Quebec region. This position will report to the Director, Quebec Professional Services and will work closely with sales and marketing teams to demonstrate ArcGIS-based solutions and to provide GIS technical advice to prospective clients, existing clients, and business partners. This role will be based remotely in Quebec.ResponsibilitiesLead pre-sales activities to drive the sales of products and services offered by Esri Canada; these activities are performed during sales calls, site visits, seminars, proposals, trade shows.Team up with account managers and industry managers to provide technical support and generate salesAdvise customers on GIS requirements and strategies, architectures, products selection, and release planning.Leverage existing ArcGIS industry solutions and deliver effective demonstrations of ArcGIS products and solutions that address client business needs and competitive situations.Assist customers in their decision-making process regarding software solutions, professional services\' needs, business partner selection, and training requirements.Assist clients and business partners in integrating ArcGIS technology with their respective products and organizational data.Assist the Director, Quebec Professional Services in the development and delivery of events, collateral and electronic communication (e.g. Web casts) specific to the use and growth of Esri solutions for the province of QuebecLead post-sales activities to expand the use of products and services offered by Esri Canada, generate additional sales, improve customer satisfaction, and enhance Esri Canada\'s image as a solutions provider.Team up with sales and marketing teams to conduct regular key account reviews and follow ups.Act as a technical advisor to customers and partners to provide GIS strategy support.Provide and receive mentoring and education to and from Esri Canada technical staff through training, seminars, demos, and lunch and learn sessions on a regular basis.QualificationsUniversity degree in GIS, geomatics, geography, computer science, engineering, or equivalent education and experience3+ years of technical experience working with GIS technologyExperience working with Esri\'s ArcGIS software product suite, including ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, and ArcGIS OnlineFluent in French (written/oral communication)Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skillsCourteous, well-spoken, and customer focusedSelf-motivated, goal driven, and an efficient team playerBonus Points For This PositionPrior GIS development and implementation experiencePrior consulting services, sales support, or sales engineer experienceWhat Esri Canada Offers YouWe prioritize our employees\' well-being and work-life balance.
