About The Role Clutch is looking for an Accounts Payable Supervisor to join our Finance & Accounting team You are a highly organized, detail‑oriented professional with a passion for process excellence and team leadership. In this role, you’ll oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the accounts payable function, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across all vendor payments and expense processes. You’ll play a key role in optimizing workflows, implementing best practices, and supporting Clutch’s fast‑paced growth by maintaining strong vendor relationships and ensuring timely, accurate financial reporting. What You’ll Do Supervise and mentor the Accounts Payable team, providing guidance, training, and feedback. Oversee the end‑to‑end accounts payable process, including invoice processing, approvals, and vendor payments. Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and applicable regulatory requirements. Review and reconcile accounts payable transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness. Collaborate cross‑functionally with Procurement, Operations, and Finance teams to resolve invoice or payment discrepancies. Manage vendor relationships - addressing inquiries, resolving disputes, and ensuring timely payment cycles. Monitor and improve accounts payable KPIs (aging, payment terms, discounts, etc.) to optimize working capital. Support month‑end and year‑end close activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and audit documentation. Work closely with the Finance & Accounting team on various ad‑hoc projects that will improve and maintain the accounts payable function. We’re Looking For Post‑secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration. 3–5 years of progressive experience in accounts payable, including at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or lead role. Strong understanding of accounting principles and internal controls related to AP processes. Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and comfort learning new financial systems and tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You can build strong relationships across teams and with external vendors. Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and time‑management skills. A continuous improvement mindset. You are proactive in identifying inefficiencies and implementing solutions. You are entrepreneurial and a hustler: you do what it takes to get the job done and enjoy working hard. Experience with Oracle Fusion is a plus.
