Senior Project Manager – EPC & Nuclear Infrastructure Location : Bowmanville, ON (100% Onsite) Overview We are seeking experienced Project Leaders to manage large-scale Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects at the Darlington site. This position will lead projects through all phases – from initiation and planning to execution, commissioning, and closeout – ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, safety, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Provide full lifecycle project management for assigned EPC projects, from concept to completion. Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and forecasts to ensure alignment with corporate objectives. Administer EPC contracts, including review and approval of vendor invoices, tracking purchase orders, and managing change orders. Lead risk management activities, maintain project risk registers, and implement mitigation strategies. Act as the primary liaison between Ontario Power Generation (OPG) and vendor stakeholders to ensure alignment and accountability. Oversee and support field execution teams, fulfilling Field Team Lead (FTL) and Modification Team Lead (MTL) responsibilities as required. Develop and present business cases to secure project funding and resources. Ensure strict compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical guidance to junior staff and project team members. Support the Section Manager with reporting, resource planning, and administrative functions. Qualifications Minimum 10 years of progressive project management experience in large-scale industrial, infrastructure, or energy projects. Strong background in installation, commissioning, cost control, and schedule management for EPC projects. Proven experience managing electrical systems and components; familiarity with major manufacturers’ equipment preferred. Skilled in developing estimates, execution plans, contracting strategies, and forecasts. Demonstrated experience with risk management, field execution, and stakeholder engagement. Familiarity with ECC processes and work planning systems considered an asset. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence diverse teams. Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or equivalent preferred. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification strongly preferred.
