IBDP Chemistry

Position: Part Time Teaching Subject: Biology / Chemistry / Environmental Systems & Societies Job Description Plan weekly lessons and deliver lesson according to IGCSE and IBDP Curriculum. Provide notes to reflect and inform of students’ progression, activities and learning situations. Produce regular progress reports for students based on unit planning duration. Share responsibilities in relation to students’ growth and development (e.g outing, event design and implementation). Participate in professional development sessions on and off campus; share professional development experiences when required. Prepare post lesson report weekly and lesson plan once per term. Set test/exam questions and answers. Mark test/exam papers. Monitor and manage students’ performance and behaviour Participate in school activities (e.g Parent Teacher Meeting). Minimum Qualifications Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Life sciences, or equivalent. Minimum of 5 years teaching experience with Secondary and/or Pre Tertiary Students, inclusive the conducting of Science Laboratory sessions. Teaching qualification from recognized institution will be an advantage. Able to plan and conduct courses based on IGCSE and IBDP curriculum. Able to adapt and communicate to students in an International environment. Salary Salary will be commensurate with experience and related qualification.
