Responsibilities Provide timely, high‑quality client service that meets or exceeds expectations, including coordinating audits of complex financial statements, related disclosures, and other client deliverables. Develop an understanding of the client’s business and needs, and become an industry specialist to address client‑specific requirements. Understand and utilize RSM’s Global Audit Methodology. Train and supervise Audit Associates on engagement teams, acting as an in‑charge facilitator for field work, monitoring productivity and adherence to work‑plan schedules. Anticipate and address client concerns, escalating issues as they arise. Interact with clients to ensure efficient information flow between the client and audit team. Identify and communicate significant accounting and auditing matters to manager, senior manager, and partner. Provide insightful feedback on financial statements and prepare client deliverables such as board communications, deficiency letters, and management letters. Recognize industry‑specific and general accounting and auditing issues, including revenue recognition, business combinations, debt and equity accounting, and determine appropriate audit approach. Identify performance improvement opportunities for team members. Ensure professional development through ongoing education. Willingness to travel 25% of the year, depending on client requirements. Required Qualifications Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) degree or equivalent from an accredited university. 2 years of current or recent experience in a public accounting environment. Understanding of audit services with knowledge of ASPE, ASNPO, PSAS, and GAAS regulations. CPA certification in good standing or demonstrated progress toward obtaining CPA certification, including required coursework. Experience and ability to act as in‑charge on engagements. Willingness to take supervision and guidance. Preferred Qualifications Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, highly collaborative environment. Critical thinking and strong independent work skills. Benefits & Compensation Compensation Range: $58,500 – $94,000. Selected candidates will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
