Responsibilities will include the provision of best practice methodology to assess and screen clients, and to provide individual and group counseling. The primary role of this position will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team providing virtual care. Education: Degree in Addiction Counseling or another Degree acceptable to the Employer Competencies: Interpersonal skills; Computer skills; Organizational skills; Communication skills Knowledge and Abilities: Ability to accurately assess addictions and make appropriate recovery plans; Ability to promote healthy lifestyles with diverse populations; Knowledge in group dynamics; Knowledge and ability to assess withdrawal symptoms related to substance use.; Strong knowledge of the best practices associated with treating addictions; Impact of substance use and harms associated with use; Ability to work independently and as a member of a team; Knowledge of therapeutic modalities such as CBT,DBT,MI & Stages of Change; Ability to provide ind...
