Compassionate.We are looking for someone who holds these values to join our incredible team as our Graffiti Removal Supervisor.Position Type:Permanent; 40 hours per week8 hour shiftCompensation:$19.00-$21.00 per hourShift premium paid for after hours workLife and health benefits after 90 daysProfessional development opportunitiesQualifications:Supervisory and professional experience leading a crew to deliver high quality workmanshipPainting proficiency, ability to determine an appropriate colour match for paintAbility to train, coordinate, delegate and support technicians and associatesCompletion of 24-hour coaching training, OFA1 first aid, Narcan and non-crisis intervention trainingClass 5 Driver’s licence with driving experience and a clean driver’s abstractDuties:Be fully accountable to and work to support the activities of the MP Maintenance TeamsWork as a supervisor of the painting and graffiti removal team ensuring professionalism at all timesConduct 90-day check ins with technicians each quarter/90 daysHelp to recruit and hire for MP Maintenance Technician positionsBe available on non-scheduled shifts to support Core Team Supervisors as neededEnsure uniform and attendance policies are followed by allParticipate in daily supervisor briefings and daily check insDistribute, collect and sign off on all work ordersEnsure services are being delivered with quality assuranceCommunicate with customers as neededHelp with on-boarding to train new techniciansEnsure all transitional employee assessments and reviews are completedEnsure all equipment and vehicles are being properly cared for and maintainedProvide an estimated amount of labour hours and material to complete a painting jobRequirements:Class 5 Driver’s License and a clean drivers’ abstractWilling to complete a Criminal Background CheckWithin commuting distance of downtown VancouverCOVID-19 precaution(s):Remote interview processPersonal protective equipment provided or requiredPlastic shield at work stationsTemperature screeningsSocial distancing guidelines in placeVirtual meetingsSanitizing, disinfecting, or cleaning procedures in placeWe are committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
