A Day in the Life Manage short‑ and long‑term cash flow needs (cash inflows and outflows); Contribute to the transformation of financial operations to support organizational growth; Participate in budget preparation, budget monitoring, and forecast tracking; Oversee the implementation of various financial processes in collaboration with other department members; Organize, plan, and supervise the monthly, quarterly, and annual processes related to financial statement production and year‑end audit; Supervise day‑to‑day accounting for payables, receivables, and payroll cycles, and drive improvements to those cycles; Review complex accounting transactions; Prepare or review various reports related to government compliance; Participate in financing and acquisition files; Participate in and oversee the integration of financial operations for acquired companies; Prepare and submit grant applications; Prepare the required data for tax credit claims (R&D, CDAE); Create, oversee, and maintain internal control systems; Perform ad‑hoc analyses based on operational needs; Collaborate with other departments as part of daily operations; Manage and grow your team by demonstrating a participative leadership style. Your Profile A bachelor’s degree in accounting and a recognized professional designation (CPA auditor preferred); 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a private company; In‑depth knowledge of IFRS accounting standards; Experience working in a multi‑currency and multi‑entity environment; Experience managing an accounting team; Strong analytical and synthesis skills; Excellent organizational skills and proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously; Advanced bilingual proficiency in English and French; Openness to change and strong adaptability.
