Operational responsibilities include ensuring the efficient operation of both the tube park and sliding areas.The ideal candidate will be a visible and engaged leader – someone who not only supports and guides the team but also upholds established policies and procedures every day. The Manager will set clear expectations, provide hands-on support, and consistently model safe practices. While overseeing dailyoperations, they will also work alongside other departments, supervisors and attendants, demonstrating teamwork, accountability, and a strong commitment to safety-first leadership.Responsibilities & QualificationsESSENTAIL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to the following):Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and manage a team of up to 35 seasonal staff.Schedule team based on business levels and operational needs.Coordinate with Guest Services to ensure appropriate staffing for all bookings.Train the team in established safety procedures and ensure completion of required paperwork.Maintain operational logs for the tube tow and tube chutes.Work closely with Lift Maintenance and Lift Operations to ensure all required policies are being adhered to.Create, maintain, and enforce policies in alignment with best safety practices.Ensure compliance with established protocols for both guests and team members alike.Provide excellent customer service to all visitors, addressing guest needs and resolving concerns in a timely, professional manner.Liaise with other departments, particularly Nordic Grooming and Nordic Patrol.Submit operational feedback and recommendations as required.Perform other duties as assigned.Embrace and demonstrate the company’s core values in every interaction:o K.R.P. – Kindness, Respect, and Professionalism.o L.E.A.D.S. – Long-Term Thinking, Excellence in Execution, Attitude is Everything, Develop Great People and Serve First.Qualifications/CompetenciesHigh school diploma or equivalent.Minimum 2 years of leadership experience managing teams of 20+ staff.Proven ability to motivate, mentor, and lead a young and culturally diverse team.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.Positive, adaptable, and receptive to feedback.Comfortable working outdoors in variable and sometimes extreme conditions (snow, rain, wind, etc.).Willingness to perform physical tasks, including daily snow shoveling.Ability to remain calm, professional, and solutions-focused while managing high guest volumes.Flexible schedule availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays during peak times.Certificates, Licenses, RegistrationsLegally able to work in Canada.Valid B.C. driver’s license.Insured and reliable vehicle with winter tires for travel to and from the mountain.28/hourOther Perks/BenefitsEnjoy UNLIMITED ALL MOUNTAIN ACCESS to skiing, snowboarding, cross-country, snowshoeing,and snow tubing.Sharpen your skills with FREE LESSONS.Save with exclusive TEAM MEMBER DISCOUNTS in Rentals, Retail, and in F&B outlets.Enjoy skiing/riding PERKS at sister resorts and other reciprocal mountains.Connect through FUN TEAM EVENTS and social activities all season long.GROW YOUR CAREER with hands-on learning opportunities.Work on the BIGGEST LOCAL MOUNTAIN.Ride the BEST SNOW & TERRAIN.Be part of a ONE-OF-A-KIND mountaintop workplace where you’ll create life-long memories. #J-18808-Ljbffr
