Join our Ottawa team as an AV Installer and be part of our story Responsibilities Review Bill of Materials, Drawings, Project Scope and prepare for site activities Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints Perform comprehensive, onsite commercial audio‑visual installation including low voltage wiring, rack setup, projector and screen installations, speakers and control systems Perform cable pulls, solder, crimp and terminate audio, video and network cables Maintain daily communication with Scheduler, Installs Manager and Account Managers on project status and task lists Must be willing to work out of town; overnight travel will be required on a regular basis Skills and Abilities Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints Knowledge of low voltage systems and signal flow for audio, video and control Troubleshooting, quality checks, servicing abilities, problem solving abilities Must be organized and detail oriented Education and Experience Minimum of 1 year of audiovisual integration experience Post‑secondary education in Electronics, Broadcasting, or a relevant field is preferred Any industry recognized training is preferred: Avixa CTS, CTS‑I, Crestron, Biamp, Extron, QSC, Dante Safety Bondable, clean driving record Must be able to lift 50lbs and work on ladders and lifts Trade Certifications WHMIS, fall arrest, scissor lift and other safety certifications Company Benefits Join a well‑established family‑owned business Competitive compensation package 100% employer‑paid benefits including Dental, Vision, Health, Critical Illness, Long‑Term Disability, Life Insurance, and Accidental Death and Dismemberment Paid holidays, flex days, and additional paid time off during Christmas Fun days to keep all employees connected whether in office or onsite Company‑provided work laptop and cellphone to support work activities Employee Assistance Program dedicated to supporting personal health and well‑being Lots of training and development opportunities Equal opportunity employer with a focus on creating a diverse, equal, inclusive, and belonging (DEIB) work environment Great employee discount programs with leading partners (Telus, Perk‑Polis, Co‑Operators, etc.) And much much more Apply now to join our amazing team #J-18808-Ljbffr
