Could you be our next hire?As a Mobile Engineer, your primary focus will be to build and enhance our real-time, offline-first mobile application. You’ll also help build and maintain backend Node.js services and occasionally contribute to the frontend of our web application to ensure consistency across platforms. We’re looking for a motivated self-starter who thrives in a distributed team environment. The day-to-day responsibilities are broad, and you’ll ultimately be responsible for shipping high-quality software that powers the commercial contracting industry.What You’ll DoLead development and maintenance of our React Native mobile application with real-time and offline-first capabilitiesCollaborate with engineers to design, build, and integrate backend Node.js services, with occasional contributions to the frontend of our web applicationWrite clean, well-documented code with strong test coverage, and support technical quality through design and code reviewsEnhance and optimize REST APIs and GraphQL services to meet mobile application requirementsPartner with Product, QA, Data, and DevOps to deliver reliable, high-quality softwareCo-own the short- and long-term technical vision of your squad with your teammatesMentor junior engineers and share technical expertise across teamsProvide recommendations, prototypes, and feedback to improve product features and functionalityWhat We Look For3+ years of experience as a Mobile Engineer, with strong expertise in React NativeProven experience building real-time, offline-first mobile applicationsStrong experience developing and integrating backend services with Node.js, REST APIs, and GraphQLSolid knowledge of modern databases (MySQL, Postgres), including query optimizationAbility to write clean, well-tested JavaScript/TypeScript codeFamiliarity with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Jest) for unit and integration testingExcellent communication and technical writing skillsB.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in computer science, engineering, or related fieldNice To HaveFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and mobile deployment processesKnowledge of native iOS and Android developmentUnderstanding of frontend web technologies (React.js)Experience with mobile UI/UX design principles #J-18808-Ljbffr
