Role Responsibilities We are hiring for two dynamic director positions: Director, Industry Relations (Permanent). Reporting to the Executive Director of Economic Policy and Investment Competitiveness... Director, Defense Strategy and Integration (24 months). Reporting to the Executive Director of Economic Policy and Investment Competitiveness... Director, Industry Relations – Responsibilities Lead JETI's industry relations activities, including the development and execution of industry engagement strategies. Deliver dynamic, client-driven investment concierge services to high impact private sector investments. Director, Defense Strategy and Integration – Responsibilities Lead broad-based defence strategy development, integration and alignment activities. Lead the government’s defence industry relations activities. Deliver dynamic, client-driven investment concierge services to high impact private sector investments in the defence sector. Qualifications University degree in Business, Economics, Public Administration, Economic Development or Political Science and six years progressively responsible experience. Leadership and supervision of cross‑functional teams. Experience leading complex projects in a dynamic environment. Strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to develop and execute stakeholder engagement strategies. Assets Strong ability to and maintain effective stakeholder networks and relationships. Strong interpersonal and problem‑solving skills. Knowledge of project management approaches. Experience building teams with a commitment to organizational capacity. Understanding of economic development principles. Strong understanding of factors impacting Alberta’s industries (manufacturing, logistics, construction).
