(GDI) is a Montréal-based, public company of integrated omni-channel brands, designing and distributing accessible, trend-forward fashion for women since 1975.Our mission of "Empowering YOU to be YOU, one outfit at a time" is brought to life through the GARAGE and DYNAMITE banners and represents the consumer-centric core of GDI's long-standing success as a leading retailer in North America.Today, GDI operates nearly 300 stores across Canada and the United States, as well as shoppable brand experiences at Garageclothing.com and Dynamiteclothing.com.Job SummaryReporting to the Sr. Manager, Store Design, the Sr. Project Manager is responsible for overseeing global store design rollout and ensuring the brand consistency of Groupe Dynamite’s design elements for Garage and Dynamite.Main ResponsibilitiesParticipate in space analyses (survey coordination, schematic design, code analysis, etc.);Collaborate with internal teams (Leasing, Construction, Visual, Merchandising) to create layout studies based on design requirements and Groupe Dynamite’s design standards;Oversee the architecture and engineering consultants in the preparation of the permit/construction documents, landlord reviews and approvals, and revisions or scope clarification during the construction phase;Manage design project timelines and schedules;Review shop drawings and redline construction documents;Manage individual projects from start to finish, including budgeting, schedules, and site visits;Develop drawings using AutoCAD;Ensure design integrity;Participate in the design, development, and modifications of prototypes and fixtures;Support the development of design standards, tools, and processes.QualificationsRetail experience is an asset;Highly organized with an eye for detail;Highly creative and innovative;Excellent communication and presentation skills;Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet fast turnaround deadlines;Collaborative and team player.Position ProfileUndergraduate degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field;8+ years of retail experience in a similar position;Bilingualism (French and English) is required for daily communication with suppliers, employees, and stakeholders, both within and outside of Quebec;Strong project management skills;Good design and presentation skills;Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, and SketchUp.At GDI, You Will Be Part Of a Growing Organization That Understands The Importance Of Investing In People And Offers YouA comprehensive compensation package that includes performance-driven bonuses;A group retirement savings program with employer matching;Flexible group insurance with personalized coverage that meets your needs;An employee discount at Garage and Dynamite;Exclusive private sample sales;A flexible vacation policy;And moreGDI has been repeatedly voted one of Montréal’s Top Employers and one of Canada’s Top Employers for Young People.Our promise… No day will be like the last—we aim to be better today than we were yesterday.
